RESI STAY YASAKA is located in Kyoto’s Yasaka–Kiyomizu area, home to many of the city’s top attractions, including Yasaka Shrine—famous for the Gion Festival—as well as Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ninenzaka/Sannenzaka, and Hanamikoji Street. Inspired by the New Year tradition “Karuta Hajime-shiki” held at Yasaka Shrine, the interior design features color layering motifs based on the traditional twelve-layered kimono (junihitoe). You can experience the refined aesthetic of Heian-era nobility, expressed through layered colors that reflect nature’s changing seasons. Rooms are available in two types: Twin and Double. All Rooms include a kitchen, and there is also a laundry on the first floor—ideal for longer stays.

Kiyomizu-dera Temple
A 16-minute walk from RESI STAY YASAKA A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its main hall (a National Treasure) is famous for the “Kiyomizu Stage,” offering sweeping views over Kyoto. In spring, cherry blossoms and in autumn, vibrant foliage create a beautiful harmony between Mt. Otowa’s nature and the temple’s historic buildings. Within the grounds, the three sacred streams of Otowa Waterfall are said to bring blessings for academic success, good health, and love.
