Our Accommodation is about a 5-minute walk from Makino Sunny Beach, a popular swimming spot on Lake Biwa, and within a 7-minute drive of the Metasequoia-lined avenue, beautiful in every season. In spring, the Kaizu Osaki Cherry Blossom Avenue—selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots and one of the Eight Views of Lake Biwa—is at its best, with around 800 Somei Yoshino cherry trees in full bloom along the lakeshore. In winter, Makino Kogen Ski Area is also easily accessible. Surrounded by Lake Biwa’s rich natural scenery, you can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring, swimming in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and skiing in winter—all while relaxing freely and comfortably in a private whole-building rental. As all buildings are rented exclusively, we can accommodate up to 45 guests in total, making it ideal for large groups. Enjoy a peaceful stay by the shores of Lake Biwa.

We offer on-site rentals of play equipment such as balls and badminton sets, as well as e-bike rentals that are safe even for first-time cyclists. Recommended nearby spots include the Metasequoia Tree-Lined Road, which shows beautiful seasonal colors. If you’re feeling energetic, why not venture to Shirahige Shrine, known for its striking great torii gate standing in Lake Biwa? In spring, enjoy a cherry-blossom cycling ride along the Kaizu-Osaki cherry tree avenue. You can also easily experience “Biwaichi,” the Lake Biwa cycling route. *Please strictly follow traffic rules when exploring. In addition, for a cozy stay in or when relaxing in your Room after sunset, we also lend out a variety of board games. Enjoy a fun time together while chatting.

After a full day of fun around Lake Biwa, it’s time for the dinner you’ve been waiting for. The dinner-included Plan features an easy, hands-free BBQ where you can enjoy “Shiga Beef” and Takashima’s local specialty, seasoned chicken “Tonchan-yaki.” All BBQ areas on the property are fully covered with roofs, so you can use them even in snow or rain. In addition, for a limited time in autumn and winter, we also offer hot pot options such as Shiga’s specialty “Shiga Beef Japanese-style dashi hot pot” and “Omi duck hot pot.” For breakfast, we deliver our freshly baked bread—one of our proud specialties—right to your Room. Enjoy breakfast while soaking up the pleasant morning sun. *Please note that the BBQ may not be available depending on same-day snowfall/rainfall amounts or strong winds.*

All of our buildings are pet-friendly, so the whole family can enjoy a relaxing stay together. In our “Cottage Type” Rooms, dogs of all sizes—from small to large—are welcome, and they may stay freely indoors. We also have a shared dog run on the property, so you can relax comfortably both outdoors and inside. In our “Glamping Type” Rooms, only small dogs are allowed. Each comes with a private dog run for your own exclusive space. Please note that dogs are not allowed to roam inside the tent; we provide complimentary crates for them to rest comfortably with your family. We also offer pet amenities and dog outfits for the whole family to enjoy.

On our property, we offer a dedicated BBQ area,commentary and each glamping unit comes with its own private BBQ grill. Our outdoor BBQ space is covered, so it can be used even in rainy weather. The spacious BBQ area is suitable for large groups as well. If you would like to use it, please contact us in advance. Please note that BBQ may not be available depending on snowfall/rainfall or strong winds on the day of your stay.

In the shared on-site common area, we provide a free microwave and coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Please feel free to use them for laundry after enjoying activities such as swimming in the lake or cycling. Laundry detergent is available for purchase at the check-in front desk, so please ask if you would like to use it.
