HOTEL MAZARIUM

This time I made a point of arriving in Morioka early. Even though it was before check-in, the staff kindly stored my luggage, so I could explore Morioka hands-free. I also got to fully enjoy my favorite Morioka reimen, and at night I relaxed and refreshed at the spa. After properly unwinding with the sauna and cold bath, I was able to head to work feeling great the next day. As a soft-serve lover, I was beyond happy that I could enjoy Noda Salt soft-serve right inside the Hotel!Another highlight is being able to spend time at ease in such a refined space. The parking lot is close by, and the location is very convenient with direct access to the bus center. Just one thing: it was a little hard to understand how guests can use the Hotel café. Could we have had dinner there too…? Was there morning coffee we could take back to our Room…? Next time, I’m definitely coming for a relaxing Multiple Night Stay on a private trip!

Due to work, my stay was short, so I couldn’t use the spa or enjoy the breakfast I had been looking forward to. However, the Room was clean and comfortable, with a desk that made it easy to spend time there. Heralbony artwork was subtly displayed throughout, and it was soothing to relax while taking in the art. The Hotel as a whole has a stylish yet warm atmosphere—an inspiring space that feels fulfilling beyond just staying overnight. The staff were also courteous and attentive, and this is now one of my favorite Hotels that I’d love to stay at again when visiting Morioka. Ah… if only it weren’t for work—I’d love to spend a few leisurely days here listening to jazz. I also loved the mineral water with the Heralbony label so much that I bought some online after returning home!
