Simply soak in the hot spring and gaze at the sky. That alone will leave you feeling fulfilled—this is an Accommodation for exactly that. Welcome to Hotarakashi no Yado. Enjoy it in your own way. “Takaogen-sen,” a natural hot spring rising in Nasu’s quiet forest, is a sulfur spring known for its skin-beautifying qualities. It warms you from the core, leaving your skin soft and radiant after your bath. Surrounded by tranquility, enjoy a luxurious moment as both mind and skin gently unwind.

  • Leave it as it is—that’s the best part.

    This was my second stay. All-inclusive Accommodations have become more common lately, but this place isn’t ideal for those who want full service or included meals. I prefer a hands-off style, and it suits me perfectly! It’s an Accommodation where you can casually enjoy the Onsen in your own way—this relaxed, “leave-you-to-it” vibe has become a recent favorite of mine. Since it was just rebranded and renovated last year, the bath area and Rooms are clean and feel fresh. I love hydrogen sulfide sulfur springs, which is why I’m especially fond of this Accommodation. The source temperature is on the cooler side at 37°C, so the bath area is heated—perfect for me. The outdoor Onsen pool isn’t heated, so I think it would be hard to use during colder seasons (lol). If you love extremely hot free-flowing natural spring baths, I think nearby Shika-no-Yu would be fantastic. Because it’s at a high elevation, it stayed cool just by opening the windows with the screens closed in place—and it felt great to relax while listening to birdsong. I’ll be back again!   • Relaxed and wonderful!

    As a Tochigi resident, it’s great that I can get there within an hour! Since my main goals are the Onsen and getting together for drinks, it’s excellent value for money. Considering the price, I think the staff service is also good. I go to an Onsen about 5–6 times a year, so this is perfect!

We do not have a restaurant, but our Hotel values “freedom of dining.” Enjoy Nasu’s rich food culture by dining out, or bring back local specialties and savor them at your leisure in your Room—choose the style that suits you best. Inside the Hotel, we sell authentic frozen bento meals (6 varieties: Japanese, Western, and Chinese), supervised by the Executive Chef of Hotel Epinard Nasu, 24 hours a day. We also offer other frozen items, canned foods, and ready-to-eat meals. A microwave is available as well, so you can easily enjoy a hot meal anytime.
