Enjoy an exceptional stay with a private open-air hot spring bath featuring natural free-flowing and artesian spring water.

A secluded Accommodation nestled along the Ina River gorge in the southernmost part of Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture. With Hinoemata Village—known as a hidden gem of Oku-Aizu—and Oze close by, you can enjoy magnificent seasonal scenery and a peaceful, tranquil stay.\n\nOur greatest highlight is our fully renovated detached annex villas. Inspired by the traditional Oku-Aizu “Magariya” style, we offer five private old-style houses, each available as an exclusive whole-villa rental.\n\nEach villa is furnished with top-brand furniture, beds, and fittings for an exceptional private retreat. All rooms feature 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water from our own self-flowing drilled source (kakenagashi), with both an indoor bath and a stone-built open-air bath exclusively for guest use. In particular, the highest-grade B-type open-air bath is spacious enough for four adults to soak comfortably.\n\nFor dining, we serve a luxurious kaiseki course featuring abundant ingredients from Minamiaizu. Savor local specialties such as Aizu horse sashimi, river fish, and mountain vegetables—perfectly paired with premium local sake and hard-to-find vintage wines.

  • I had been looking for an opportunity to stay at this accommodation for a few years, and I was fortunate to book a stay during the New Year holidays. I stayed in a Detached B-Type Room, and the open-air bath with a view of the snow was absolutely wonderful. The complimentary services such as espresso and drinks in the refrigerator, along with the well-stocked amenities, were impressive. I was particularly surprised by how luxurious even the tissues were! The meals were so plentiful that I couldn’t finish them all—I apologize for leaving some behind. I would love to stay here again if I have another chance. Thank you for your hospitality!

  • I usually don't leave comments, but I must say this accommodation was exceptional. The abundant amenities, modern facilities, delicious food, and drinks were all wonderful. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the private open-air bath with a generous flow of hot spring water and the warm hospitality of the staff. Even considering its slightly inconvenient location, it is a favorite accommodation worth visiting. It would be great if there were an option for a course with slightly smaller portions for meals.

Relax in the great outdoors with free-flowing Azuki Onsen straight from the source.

The name “Azuki Onsen” is said to come from an old tale in which a hunter saw wild animals soothing themselves in hot water that welled up at the base of an azuki tree. Even today, these gentle waters carry on that legend, bringing deep relaxation and renewal to every guest. Inside the property, we offer two large public baths with distinct atmospheres inspired by stone and wood, as well as private baths with free-flowing natural spring water and in-room baths. Surrounded by the beauty of each season, enjoy a soothing soak that gently unwinds both body and mind.
