20 minutes by car from JR Kojima Station, this prime location offers a stunning Seto Inland Sea beach right in front. The accommodations range from Japanese, Western, and Japanese-Western style rooms to family rooms, suites, and a Toy Kingdom-themed room. Just a few minutes' drive to the popular "Toy Kingdom" for children, and convenient access to Naoshima, known as an art island. In summer, enjoy swimming at Shibukawa Beach right in front.
We stayed here to visit Toy Kingdom. We chose this Hotel because it was close—about a 6-minute drive from Toy Kingdom. The exterior looks a bit aged, but the inside was well cleaned and comfortable.We stayed in a Japanese-style Room on the ocean side. However, since it was on the second floor, trees blocked the view and we couldn’t really enjoy the scenery. The amenities were fine overall, but it was disappointing that there were no skincare items like lotion provided in the Room. Also, perhaps because it was summer, the bath water temperature was extremely hot. Our 7-year-old daughter kept going back and forth between the cold bath and the hot bath (lol), and our 5-year-old son didn’t seem able to get in.At the buffet, they grilled meat at a live kitchen station, and it was tender and very delicious. There was also a great variety of ice cream.It felt like most guests were families, so we thought this Hotel would be very comfortable for those traveling with children.

Thank you so much!For dinner this time we chose the family buffet. As others have mentioned, the smoke from the sirloin steak was noticeable, but the buffet venue was larger than the one on the first floor, and I think it’s easier for families with children to eat there. The live piano performance also included children’s songs, and it was heartwarming to see kids from different families singing along. We also appreciated that the kids’ menu items were placed where children could reach them—my 6-year-old daughter was happy she could pick her own food. The live demonstration of salt-baked beef tongue was also fun; they even added music and really put effort into making it entertaining.The kids’ festival games were fun, but isn’t “60 shots” for basketball impossible within that time? My daughter made 30 but only received a participation prize and felt disappointed. It might be better to set a lower target or adjust it by age—like the ring toss next door. The maze on the first floor was great! Even my 2-year-old enjoyed it and was delighted to receive a sticker.The guest room felt cold because the air conditioning is centrally controlled.That was a bit of a drawback.We were able to enjoy the bath at a quiet time and relax. I went in again early in the morning, but it was more crowded then!Breakfast buffet was on the first floor.It felt smaller than the family buffet venue, which was slightly disappointing. We went at 7:00 and got in smoothly, but people who went at 8:00 had quite a long wait. I recommend going early.It’s close to Toy Kingdom (Omocha Okoku), so I recommend it for families with children. We plan to stay again during pool season.

Regarding Your Visit
- Guests with symptoms such as fever or cough may be denied entry.
- Please wear a mask when visiting the Property (except during dining or bathing).
- Guests without masks may be denied entry to the Hotel.
- Regular ventilation will be conducted within the Facility.
Front Desk Measures
- To prevent droplet transmission between guests and staff, vinyl curtains have been installed at the front desk counter.
- Tools used for filling out the registration card will be disinfected after use.
- Cash trays will be used for handing over Room keys, other items, and cash transactions.
- When lining up at the front desk, please check the floor markings and maintain a distance of at least 1 meter.
- While we will assist with luggage upon request, staff will not guide guests to their Rooms as a general rule.
- Room keys returned to the front desk will be disinfected.
- Due to regular handwashing, gargling, and disinfection by staff as part of hygiene measures, there may be fewer counter staff available.
Restaurant Measures
- Enhanced hygiene measures, such as regular alcohol disinfection, will be implemented.
- Seating arrangements will be spaced out to prevent infection and allow guests to enjoy their meals at a relaxed pace.
- At buffet restaurants, some menu items will be served individually for hygiene purposes.
- Space disinfection will be conducted around the buffet area using alcohol disinfection and ultrasonic humidifiers.
- Buffet tongs will be replaced and cleaned every 30 minutes.
Onsen Measures at Tamano Onsen
- Entry may be restricted depending on the level of congestion.
- Please leave one seat empty when using the sofas in the relaxation Room.
- The use of the sauna will be suspended temporarily to prevent overcrowding.
