Outdoor parking (on-site; 45 spaces; first-come, first-served; Reservation not available)

Our Hotel offers 45 parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Having an on-site surface parking lot is a rare feature in Kyoto and one of our highlights. The surface lot has no height restriction, so even tall vehicles can park with confidence. The underground parking is directly connected to the front desk by elevator, making it convenient even on rainy days without getting wet. (Height limit: 2 m) If the parking lot is full, we will direct you to nearby paid coin-operated parking lots. (No affiliation) ■Parking Fees ・From 1:00 PM on the day of arrival to 1:00 PM the following day: JPY 1,300 ・Outside the above hours, an additional fee of JPY 200 per 30 minutes applies ・Payment is made at the payment machine at the exit ・If you wish to park beyond the above time period, please inform the front desk at check-in

Kujo Depot

Right in front of our property is a bus terminal where Kyoto City buses gather, with many buses arriving and departing from here. As this is the first stop, you can usually get a seat no matter where you’re going—making travel comfortable and convenient without the crowds of packed, standing-room-only buses. In the evening, many city buses line up, creating a unique scene you don’t often get to see. Enjoy the nighttime view of rows of buses and make “Kujo Shako-mae” your base for stress-free sightseeing in Kyoto.

Tourist Information

Kyoto Daiichi Hotel is conveniently located near JR Kyoto Station, the gateway to Kyoto (or Kujo Station on the Karasuma Subway Line), making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Approximate travel times (including walking) to major attractions are as follows: ■ To-ji Temple: about 10 minutes on foot / Nishiki Market: about 15 minutes by train / Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine: about 15 minutes by train Kyoto Aquarium: about 15 minutes by city bus / Kiyomizu-dera Temple: about 25 minutes by city bus / Arashiyama: about 35 minutes by train ■ The UNESCO World Heritage site To-ji Temple (Five-Story Pagoda) is about a 10-minute walk from the Hotel—perfect for a morning stroll. In spring and autumn, illuminated cherry blossoms and autumn leaves create a magical atmosphere. For the popular Kiyomizu-dera Temple, get off at the “Kiyomizu-michi” bus stop; it’s about a 10-minute walk up Sannenzaka, lined with souvenir shops.
