Equipped with free parking, it is ideal for family stays, and the "Takibi-an" event, where you can enjoy a relaxing time around a bonfire as part of an outdoor experience program for adults, is also highly popular. Additionally, cycling and exploring the surrounding area from the Utano Youth Hostel are highly recommended. As an internationally diverse youth hostel that values "travel, people, and nature," we support eco-friendly travelers who care about the local environment while offering opportunities to connect with Kyoto's town, people, history, and culture. While we do not offer the all-encompassing Facilities of a Hotel, our hospitable staff, who cherish encounters and exchanges, warmly welcome you.

  • Lively and pleasant.

    The children on the training camp were very energetic and lively. I think this is a very clean Facility, even among youth hostels. Breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the free parking is a big plus. The bath was not crowded, so I could relax. I would like to stay again.

  • I would like to stay here again.

    The front desk staff were kind, and the Facility was clean—an excellent youth hostel.I was able to stretch out in the large public bath and relax a lot. After my bath, it was time for the coffee service, so I took my time in the dining area with a cup of coffee (instant).I think it’s a great choice for anyone who likes youth hostels.I’d definitely like to stay here again.
