We happily received the amenities at check-in, and when we entered the Room, the vivid fresh greenery right in front of us was breathtaking. The greenery was reflected in the mirror above the sink, making it feel as if we were looking at a painting.In this lovely Room, welcome drinks, muffins, and strawberry milk kanten jelly were prepared for us, and we enjoyed them very much...At dinner, we enjoyed everything through dessert while listening to live piano music—and breakfast was delicious as well.The open-air bath was soothing as we felt close to nature. Thanks to the staff’s kind attentiveness, it was a truly relaxing stay for both my mother and me.

From the welcome dessert and drinks to the impeccably cleaned Room, the comfortable Onsen, and the delicious meals and desserts—many of which are very photogenic—I am always extremely satisfied. There are also many services not listed on the menu, and I truly appreciate that you kindly prepared alternatives for me since I do not like raw seafood. I also received tickets to a museum I had never visited before; especially at this time of year when it is hot, an air-conditioned museum was perfect. Thank you very much. I will definitely stay again.

Immerse yourself in the ambiance of a Japanese garden while enjoying the skin-friendly "Onsen of Beauty." The large communal baths "Kiraku no Yu" and "Biraku no Yu" feature indoor baths with panoramic views of Hakone's changing seasons and outdoor baths set within a charming Japanese garden. Additionally, "Biraku no Yu" offers an outdoor jacuzzi. The water is colorless, transparent, and a mildly alkaline simple spring, gentle on the skin. Enshrined beside the entrance of the Property is the Tensho Inari Daimyojin (or Shoichii Inari-sama), which holds the same highest rank as Fushimi Inari Taisha, the head shrine of Inari deities. Since the Muromachi period, it has been affectionately known as "Tsubakimori Oinari-sama" in the area of Oiso-juku along the Tokaido Fifty-Three Stations. In 1953, it was relocated to the predecessor of the current Property, Shinshogetsu. The white female fox deity is reputed to bring blessings for matchmaking and romantic success, with many guests sharing stories of finding good relationships. At the Property's front desk, heart-shaped ema (800 yen) and protective charms (1,000 yen) are also available.
