Accommodation offering fresh squid sashimi, a specialty of Yobuko, featuring a panoramic bath overlooking the Genkai Sea and newly renovated rooms for a comfortable stay.
Kanko Hotel Daimonkaku is an accommodation where you can enjoy the freshest seafood from Genkai-nada, with "Yobuko's Live Squid Sashimi" as its main attraction. The live squid, known for its high transparency and crunchy texture, is a specialty of Yobuko that attracts visitors from across the whole country. In addition to squid, we offer seasonal seafood such as sea bream, abalone, sea urchin, and turban shell in carefully prepared kaiseki cuisine by our head chef. From the separate men’s and women’s panoramic large baths, you can enjoy views of Nago Bay and Yobuko Bridge. At night, the quiet fishing lights create a serene atmosphere, while in the morning you can witness the sunrise over the horizon. An open-air bath is also available for a more relaxing experience. Our rooms include four types: Japanese-style rooms and Japanese-Western style rooms featuring "Japanese-style room with beds" and "Deluxe Rooms," which were renovated in 2023. All rooms are equipped with air purifiers, toilets with bidet functions (washlets), Wi-Fi access, and accommodate between 2 to 6 guests comfortably. We look forward to welcoming you with fresh seafood delicacies, breathtaking views, and heartfelt hospitality.
We stayed here for a commemorative trip and a Yobuko visit at my parents’ request. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals, the scenic 전망 bath, the comfortable Room, and the lounge beautifully decorated with ikebana.Since we were traveling with elderly parents, you supported us in many ways even before we finalized our booking, which allowed us to visit with peace of mind. (The surprise was also a lovely touch.)This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again on our next trip to Yobuko. Highly recommended!!!
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 5/22/2026We stayed at Taibokaku as a slightly belated Mother’s Day gift. We chose the deluxe kaiseki meal to enjoy great food, but it was so lavish—and the portions were so large—that we were completely stuffed. Even though there were only two of us, the spread felt like it was for four: a huge platter of flounder, two servings of live squid sashimi, abalone, beef, and much more—truly impressive. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and we also appreciated the trial face packs and lotions provided in the large public bath. Although we arrived earlier than check-in time, they prepared our Room right away, which we were very grateful for.
