A blissful moment to enjoy the renowned "Misasa Onsen" in the nature-rich Misasa Town.

Misasa Onsen in Tottori Prefecture is one of Japan’s finest hot springs, said to cure illness if you greet three mornings here. At Blancart Misasa, a wellness-focused Accommodation located along the Mitoku River that runs through the heart of Misasa Onsen, we hope to support guests seeking better health. We offer our own dedicated Facility for “Radon Hot Air Bathing,” an onsen bathing method considered one of the most efficient ways to absorb the benefits of radon. We also offer a variety of dining Plans featuring seasonal ingredients that Sanin Tottori is proud of. In nature-rich Misasa Town, please visit Blancart Misasa—not only as a base for sightseeing and leisure, but also as a place that stays close to those seeking rest and rejuvenation.

  • The price was lower compared to other hotels, so I didn't have high expectations, but it was conveniently located near the Onsen street and within walking distance to a convenience store. The front desk service was excellent, and if you brought your own toothbrush, you received a 200 yen voucher per person that could be used there. The room was clean and well-maintained. Although it takes about 4 hours by car and is not an easy distance to visit frequently, I would like to come back for a multiple night stay next time. Thank you very much!

  • I stayed for three nights with the plan that included a steam bath. The steam bath was pleasantly different from what I had expected and truly wonderful. Although the mist made visibility poor, the temperature was just right, and inhaling radon is said to be good for the body. Spending 40 minutes in this hazy space left me feeling calm and refreshed. The meal was a small portion course, which initially seemed insufficient, but by the time I finished dessert, I felt completely full. The facility showed some signs of age. However, all of the staff were absolutely amazing. Their phone support before my stay and their assistance during check-in were not merely procedural; they addressed all my concerns thoroughly. We used a private family bath for three days and enjoyed relaxing in the onsen at our own pace. However, as someone with a shorter height, I found the bathtub slightly deep—having a simple handrail would have been helpful.I felt that all staff members at the steam bath area, restaurant, and front desk followed guidelines while also responding flexibly to each guest's needs.Unlike overly formal accommodations that feel insincere despite appearances, this place left me feeling warm-hearted as I checked out.I have already made a reservation to visit again next spring—thank you in advance!

Among the many Ryokan in Misasa Onsen, only our property offers the original “Radon Hot Air Bath” experience.

Misasa Onsen, said to restore your vitality after three mornings, is a renowned hot spring that boasts one of the world’s leading radioactive springs. Its radon-rich waters, nurtured by nature, have long been cherished by those wishing for good health. Radon can be absorbed into the body in various ways: by soaking in the Onsen and absorbing it through the skin, by drinking it and taking it in through the digestive system, or by inhaling mist into the lungs. Among these, inhalation through the lungs is considered the most effective. At our inn, in addition to Onsen bathing and drinking the spring water, we offer a dedicated Facility that fills an indoor space with fine mist made from our own private source—one of the world’s highest radon-content springs—allowing you to inhale radon directly. Many guests seeking wellness have praised this experience for its wide range of potential benefits.
