Goemon Bath: Immerse yourself in an iron bathtub while gazing at the fire and smoke from the firewood, surrounded by the mountain air and tranquility. Irori: Enjoy grilling or hot pot over charcoal, or simply relax with tea. Our Property is a traditional single-story farmhouse with a thatched roof covered by tin, built during the Edo period. Located at the foot of the mountains in a small valley in the northern part of Kyoto City, the view from the persimmon tree near the Property offers a glimpse of ancient scenery with old houses, fields, and forests. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom, and the bush warblers sing. In May, enjoy the refreshing breeze as all the fittings are opened to let in the new greenery. In June, fireflies light up the rainy season. Summer brings vegetable harvesting and river play. In autumn, savor the special seasonal flavors of freshly harvested rice cooked in the Kamado. October offers pleasant weather and the joy of the open breeze. In winter, snow blankets the area. - Please note that insects may appear. Due to the rich natural surroundings, while pest control measures are in place, various insects may still enter the premises. Additionally, wild animals such as deer and boars can be found nearby.
