Prince Hotel Shimonoseki

It’s a standard Room, but it felt spacious!Most amenities are provided, which was very helpful.The parking garage goes up to the 7th floor. There’s no elevator, but it’s roomy (the ocean view from the 7th floor is beautiful, so if you don’t have much luggage, I recommend parking on the 7th floor).It’s within walking distance from Shimonoseki Station and Sea Mall Shimonoseki—perfect for a casual stroll.If you follow Google Maps, the route to the Hotel might be a bit hard to understand. It’s behind a main road and on a one-way street.Right outside the back exit of the Hotel there are some adult-oriented shops lined up, but there were no touts, so I think it’s fine to walk (the parking area is closer from the back exit).The breakfast toast was really delicious!

This was my second stay.Having a dedicated parking lot with free parking is very considerate. It’s also close to the dining area and the station, so I’ll definitely stay again. However, if you exit from the back entrance on the parking lot side, there are adult entertainment venues nearby. That said, many families were staying as well, and since you can use the main entrance except for check-in/check-out, it wasn’t an issue at all.
