Established in 1934, we reopened with a new name and appearance in 2012. Located on the highest hill in Shimabara, featuring a design that juts out into the sea. Proudly offering open-air baths and Hinoki wooden baths with water sourced from Shimabara Onsen. All public baths boast ocean views! We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday.The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped.The Room was exactly what we requested and was well cleaned.The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well.Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had weak water pressure. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.We would like to stay again.
