A spectacular Accommodation with sweeping ocean views and a breathtaking sunrise! Enjoy our pride and joy: an ocean-view Onsen with free-flowing natural hot spring water.

Established in 1934, we reopened with a new name and appearance in 2012. Located on the highest hill in Shimabara, featuring a design that juts out into the sea. This is a stunning resort offering breathtaking views of the Kujukushima Islands and Ariake Sea, where you can enjoy an inspiring sunrise. Proudly offering open-air baths and Hinoki wooden baths with water sourced from Shimabara Onsen. All public baths boast ocean views! Savor the flavors of Shimabara's sea and mountains with dishes prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients.

  • We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was very clean. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had poor water pressure. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again.

  • The facilities are quite old, but the nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere is wonderful. The staff also have a Showa-era feel, and the service is excellent. The black Onsen is great as well, and the view from the bath is outstanding. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.
