At the Hachimantai Rising Sun Hotel, surrounded by the natural beauty of the four seasons, you can enjoy a flowing Onsen. From the windows, you can admire the breathtaking view of Mount Iwate, standing at 2,038 meters, a sight so stunning it has been featured in the works of Takuboku Ishikawa and Kenji Miyazawa. Additionally, the spacious lobby lounge features a large fireplace, filling the air with the comforting scent of wood during winter. For dinner, we offer a semi-buffet style meal centered on Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients. Furthermore, soft drinks are available for unlimited enjoyment from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and alcoholic beverages from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
We were very satisfied with the meals. The ingredients, flavors, and variety of dishes were all excellent. We visited for skiing and snowboarding, and it was helpful to receive discount vouchers for nearby ski resorts. The Accommodation building itself is old, but it was well cleaned and we did not feel uncomfortable. Many guests gathered in the lobby welcome drink and free drink area, which created a lively atmosphere. There were quite a few international guests as well, but everyone had good manners and it felt comfortable. We would like to stay again.
