At the Hachimantai Rising Sun Hotel, surrounded by the natural beauty of the four seasons, you can enjoy a flowing Onsen. From the windows, you can admire the breathtaking view of Mount Iwate, standing at 2,038 meters, a sight so stunning it has been featured in the works of Takuboku Ishikawa and Kenji Miyazawa. Additionally, the spacious lobby lounge features a large fireplace, filling the air with the comforting scent of wood during winter. For dinner, we offer a semi-buffet style meal centered on Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients. Furthermore, soft drinks are available for unlimited enjoyment from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and alcoholic beverages from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
I went with modest expectations because the dinner buffet offered all-you-can-eat crab, but it exceeded them. There were surprisingly large crab legs, pork and beef shabu-shabu, and teppanyaki. It also included all-you-can-drink beer and local sake, which delighted my wife, who loves both crab and drinks.\nThe Onsen was excellent. The Room was old, but the tatami mats had been replaced, so we stayed comfortably.\nI would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 8/26/2026The Hotel itself is old, but with unlimited alcohol (even after dinner), all-you-can-eat crab, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and even unlimited yogurt at breakfast, it offers outstanding value for the price.The crab was a type I tried for the first time at this Hotel, and it’s delicious!! Highly recommended!Table tennis costs 300 yen per 30 minutes and is also recommended!! Since it closes early, I suggest playing right after check-in. You can reserve a time slot too!
