  • [Notice Regarding the Introduction of the Accommodation Tax in Nagano Prefecture]

    Due to revisions to Nagano Prefecture ordinances, for stays on or after Monday, June 1, 2026, the following Accommodation Tax will be charged per person per night in addition to the Accommodation Fee.

    ■ June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2029: JPY 200 per person per night for stays of JPY 6,000 or more (excluding tax)
    ■ From June 1, 2029 onward: JPY 300 per person per night for stays of JPY 6,000 or more (excluding tax)

    * Even if you have already paid your accommodation charges in advance (e.g., by credit card), you will still need to pay the Accommodation Tax separately at check-in.
    * The Accommodation Tax may be exempt if certain conditions are met—such as educational/research activities including school trips—or community club activities associated with the regional expansion of junior high school club programs. To receive an exemption, please submit a certificate to the Accommodation.
