Spectacular Open-Air Bath and Creative Kaiseki Cuisine for a Luxurious Nature-Filled Experience

This Property is an Onsen inn located right in front of the Gozaisho Ropeway's base station in Yunoyama Onsen. Nestled in a mountain area surrounded by nature, it is conveniently accessible, being only about 10 minutes from the Shin-Meishin Expressway. The highlights of the inn are its seasonal creative Kaiseki cuisine and its open-air baths with stunning views. During the day, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Nagoya area from the open-air bath, and at night, the sparkling nightscape awaits you. Additionally, the private baths (available for a fee) are highly popular, offering two types: a rock open-air bath and an indoor bath equipped with a microbubble system. Guests visiting nearby attractions such as the Gozaisho Ropeway, Mount Gozaisho hiking, Aqua Ignis, Forest Adventure, Nagashima Resort, and Suzuka Circuit often choose to stay at our Property.

  • What impressed me (1) When we pulled up to the parking lot by car, a male staff member came jogging over even though we were parked a bit farther in, and carried our two suitcases for us. He didn’t use the wheels and kept them lifted the whole way, which made me feel he truly treats guests’ belongings with care every day. Even after check-in, he carried our suitcases all the way to our Room. The Room was spacious, and the view from the large window was wonderful. What impressed me (2) Soon after arriving—while it was still a little light out—we used the open-air bath on the 5th floor. There was no fence blocking the view, and the roof overhang was minimal, making it incredibly open and refreshing. It felt amazing. What impressed me (3) At the designated time we went to the dinner venue on the 2nd floor, sat at our assigned table, and received an explanation of each dish from a female staff member. Everyone had such charming smiles. My companion (female) felt exactly the same. What impressed me (4) We enjoyed everything from the first course to the second course, and of course I was looking forward to the main steak—but every other dish was so deliciously seasoned that it actually outshone even the steak. Nothing was too strong or too light; everything tasted excellent. The portion size was just right as well. What impressed me (5) When we returned to our Room after dinner, our futons had already been laid out. These days many Accommodations ask guests to do this themselves, so I really appreciated such attentive service. What impressed me (6) At breakfast the next morning, different female staff members welcomed us again with cute smiles—and above all, everything tasted delicious once more. What impressed me (7) After checking out as we headed toward the parking lot, a male staff member again carried our suitcases to our car. They also guided us as we exited and saw us off with a wave. Even when we passed by reception, front desk staff came out toward lobby entrance to see us off as well. Overall, I felt that everyone’s hospitality and smiles were not forced or “for business,” but genuinely conveyed how much they wanted guests to come back again. In short: drawn by both delicious food and all of your warm smiles, I’d love to stay again—perhaps in autumn.

  • This was my second stay, following my visit in February. The renovated Room on the 6th floor was truly comfortable, and this time I was able to watch the sunrise. The meals were delicious and just the right amount. The hot pot at dinner and the miso soup in the morning had an amazingly flavorful broth—I ended up drinking every last drop.We took the ropeway to Mt. Gozaisho, and it was great that we could also buy discounted tickets. We were also able to keep using Yunomoto’s parking lot for our car, which felt like a nice bonus.Even though we returned from the mountain before noon, all of the staff kindly saw us off, and once again we were able to head home feeling wonderful.Next time, I’d love to visit during the autumn foliage season.
