The hotel directly connected to the south exit of Ōtsu Station boasts excellent transportation access, being just 9 minutes to Kyoto via 2 stations. With spacious and comfortable rooms and heartfelt service, it is ideal as a base for business and sightseeing. We offer dishes made with plenty of rice, vegetables, and local ingredients from Shiga Prefecture, along with daily changing Japanese side dishes that are highly appreciated.
The building and Facility aren’t necessarily new, but the room was clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 9th floor on the station side, and when I looked out the window in the morning, I could see Lake Biwa in the distance. You can hear trains, but they don’t run very often, so it didn’t bother me. It’s much more reasonably priced than central Kyoto and only about 8 minutes to Kyoto Station, so I’d like to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto.Note: There are no disposable slippers provided, so I recommend bringing your own (for example, inexpensive ones from a 100-yen shop).
