Indulge in luxurious hot spring bathing and Omi beef by Lake Biwa.
A lakeside Property by Lake Biwa where you can enjoy Omi Beef and natural Onsen. All rooms offer a lake view, allowing you to fully appreciate the seasonal beauty of Lake Biwa. The East Wing and West Wing are separate buildings, with the East Wing situated on a hill overlooking Lake Biwa, and the West Wing located at Miyagahama (a swimming area), offering a close-up experience of the lake. Omi Beef, counted as one of Japan's top three wagyu brands, is available at reasonable prices thanks to our "whole Omi Beef purchase" system. Enjoy kaiseki cuisine featuring carefully selected seasonal ingredients and a buffet with approximately 35 local gourmet options to choose from. The first natural Onsen in Omihachiman City, "Miyagahama no Yu," is also highly popular.
We stayed at this Accommodation, which I had been interested in for a while, for the sake of our children who wanted to swim. We enjoyed both the pool and the lake. The water temperature in both was warm, but since the air temperature was extremely high, I thought it couldn’t be helped. I’m glad the kids had fun. The Room was clean, and we were happy to have a great view of Lake Biwa from the window. As for dinner, which we had been looking forward to, there weren’t a huge number of dishes, but we were very satisfied with the sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, steak, and meat sushi. The service was pleasant and made it a very enjoyable trip. The kids said they want to stay again, so we’d like to return again in summer.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 7/29/2026Even though it was an all-you-can-eat Omi beef plan, I went in wondering if the quality would be just so-so, but the meat was very tender and exceeded my expectations. The staff were also attentive and left a great impression. However, the open-air bath felt like simply a bath located outside rather than a rock-style outdoor bath, which was a slight downside.

Introduction of the Accommodation
Ōmihachiman City's first natural Onsen 【宮ヶ浜の湯】
Opened in 2003, this is "Miyagahama no Yu," the first natural Onsen in Omihachiman City. From the open-air bath in the East Wing, you can enjoy views of Okishima Island floating on Lake Biwa and the Hira mountain range. Efficacy: Recovery after illness / Joint pain / Muscle pain / Frozen shoulder / Neuralgia / Bruises / Fatigue recovery / Chronic digestive disorders / Sensitivity to cold Spring quality: Simple Onsen (hypotonic, mildly alkaline, low-temperature spring) There are large communal baths in both the East Wing and West Wing. [East Wing] Open-air bath, indoor bath, sauna (1 for men and 1 for women each) [West Wing] Indoor bath (1 for men and 1 for women each) * Guests staying in the West Wing can use the large communal bath in the East Wing. * The indoor bath in the West Wing and the open-air bath in the East Wing are not diluted with water.

This is a short tour of approximately 2 hours to explore Okinoshima, the only inhabited island floating on a freshwater lake in Japan, guided by volunteer guides. (The walk on the island takes about 1 hour.) You can experience the traditional lifestyle scenery as if you have traveled back in time and learn about the history and culture of Okinoshima while walking through narrow alleys. Okinoshima, a place rarely visited even by locals, is definitely worth a visit.
