Meals are prepared by our head chef, featuring a fusion of Japanese and Western styles using seasonal ingredients. Another highlight is the large bath where you can relax while gazing at Mount Fuji.
The Facility is old, but parts have been renovated, so it wasn’t inconvenient.Anyway, dinner was as delicious as at a high-end traditional restaurant.The portions were generous—I felt like I could burst.Breakfast was also very good and not a buffet.However, the view was poor, and Lake Yamanaka couldn’t be seen from either the Room or the bath.If the trees were trimmed down, you’d be able to see it.

For wine, there were several half-bottle options, which we appreciated since a full bottle is too much for us to finish. Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and even recommended spots with great views of Mt. Fuji. It’s hard to deny that the building and Facility are old. Those who want to relax without leaving the Accommodation may find it lacking, but for us—just eating, taking a bath, and sleeping—it felt like excellent value for money.
