A premium Japanese-style Hotel with tatami flooring throughout. Conveniently located about a 6-minute walk from Karashimacho Station on the Kumamoto City Tram, and close to one of Japan’s three most famous castles—ideal as a base for sightseeing. The large public bath on the top floor features natural Onsen, along with a high-temperature dry sauna (auto löyly), a cold-water bath, and an outdoor relaxation area. After your bath, we offer complimentary ice cream and lactic acid drinks. For breakfast, enjoy around 50 Japanese and Western buffet items, including the local specialty “stewed horse tendon.” For a late-night snack, we also offer Dormy Inn’s signature complimentary “Yonaki Soba” (night ramen). The interior is inspired by Higo Rokka motifs, evoking elegance and dignified strength.

  • Make a statement at breakfast.

    Services are the same across the whole country, but breakfast has unique features depending on the location. This time I used a shareholder benefit as well, but Kyoritsu Maintenance’s system is complicated and hard to use. Only one person at the Hotel understood it. The management’s self-satisfying system needs improvement.

    Previously, for guests who booked the WECO Multiple Night Stay Plan (No Cleaning Plan), we provided towels daily by hanging them on the room door knob.
    However, to promote environmental conservation and resource circulation, we will partially change this operation starting March 1, 2026.
    Going forward, towels will no longer be hung on door knobs daily but will be provided upon request.
