In April 2021, as a Hotel perched atop the station building adjacent to JR Kumamoto Station's Shirakawa Exit (East Exit), the entire Hotel was designed with the concept of "Kumamoto Goten" to become a new symbol of Kumamoto. Stepping inside, you will be greeted by numerous lanterns inspired by the Yamaga Thousand Lanterns, scattering a warm "light," and you can feel the Kumamoto sky spreading out as the backdrop of the glass-walled lobby.
