Inside the gate are old lattice-structured ageya (entertainment houses) and okiya (geisha houses) neatly lined up along with landmarks like "Exit Willow," "Farewell Fence," and "Shianbashi" bridge on the path leading through it—designated as a cultural property by Kyoto City.
