August 6 is the day for a collective visit to our family grave in Kyoto, and I have stayed here for the past three years. The location is convenient (I travel to Kyoto by Hankyu Railway from Osaka Itami Airport), the price is reasonable, and there is a large public bath where I can relax. I’m also happy that it seems there are more Western-style options on the breakfast menu. I plan to stay here again next year as well.
obiwan_jedi 8/8/2026We stayed here on a girls’ trip, and it was very convenient—close to Shijo Station, making it easy to get to sightseeing spots and go shopping. The Room is a bit compact, but it has everything you need. The large public bath was relaxing, and soaking in the hot water helped relieve our fatigue. Breakfast also offered a taste of Kyoto, and the Saikyo-yaki grilled mackerel was especially delicious. With reasonable prices, this is a Hotel we would gladly stay at again when visiting Kyoto.

Large Public Bath
We offer a large public bath exclusively for staying guests, with separate facilities for men and women. Open until 24:00, it is available even if you arrive late. Our “artificial carbonated bath,” in which carbon dioxide is dissolved into the water, feels 2–3°C warmer even at a lower temperature, helping warm you to the core without putting strain on your body. It may also help relieve fatigue as carbon dioxide is absorbed through the skin. Please relax and unwind so you can recover from your travels and enjoy a fulfilling trip. Formed primarily from Yakuseki Komeiseki, a quasi-drug mineral stone considered one of the most strongly ionizing natural ores found in nature. Also known as the “Silky Smooth Skin Bath.”
Children up to 6th grade in elementary school can stay free of charge when using Child Sharing Existing Bedding with an adult. Children’s towels and other amenities are also available free of charge at the front desk. *If breakfast is included, a fee will apply for children using Child Sharing Existing Bedding as well.
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat selection of a wide variety of Kyoto-style obanzai for 1,200 yen! Start your day with our choose-your-favorites buffet.
