Notice of Housekeeping Changes for Multiple Night Stays (Eco-Friendly Cleaning)
Effective April 1, 2026, housekeeping for Multiple Night Stay bookings will change to “cleaning once every three nights.”
At VIA INN HOTELS, we are working with our guests to reduce CO2 emissions by lowering the energy used for cleaning and laundry.
If you prefer daily cleaning, we will be happy to provide it upon request.

- Cleaning will be provided once every three nights.
- On non-cleaning days, fresh towels will be placed outside your door. If you leave used towels or trash in the hallway, we will collect them (by 1:00 PM).
- If you would like cleaning on a non-scheduled day, please inform the front desk by the day before. Cleaning will be performed between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
By reducing cleaning frequency, we can save more than 20 liters of water per room.

“Ethical” is an adjective meaning “morally right” or “based on ethics.”

1) Amenities
- From “everything for everyone” to “only what you need”
Instead of placing amenities in every room, guests can pick up only what they need.
With your cooperation, we have reduced plastic waste by approximately 6 tons per year.
- Recycled amenities
Toothbrushes and hairbrushes have been changed to sustainable materials and are recycled through closed-loop recycling.
After use, please place them in the cup in your room so they can be collected and recycled into new resources.
2) Energy-saving & water-saving initiatives
- Water-saving showerheads are installed.
- LED lighting is used throughout the building.
3) Choice of housekeeping method during a Multiple Night Stay
(Ethical Cleaning [Kanazawa / Abeno Tennoji] / Green Card [other Hotel locations])
- We reduce CO2 emissions by lowering the energy required for cleaning and laundry.
Reducing linen washing can save more than 20 liters of water per room.
