  • Even if it’s hot, you’ll be fine—right in front of the station.

    Close to the station, and they were able to store our luggage, which made our trip in the hot summer very comfortable. The Room was also very spacious. The interior and bathroom were clean as well. There is a step at the bathroom entrance, and after freshening up, I was surprised by it. The staff were very helpful, and it made for an enjoyable trip.

  • We had a very satisfying trip.

    The Room has four beds, so we could relax and chat comfortably. It’s close to the station, making it convenient for getting around, and it was helpful to have access to luggage storage lockers even after check-out. One request: since there were four of us, we would have liked one more vanity mirror. It was a wonderful trip and we were very satisfied.

A prime location, just a 2-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station.

Conveniently located near the station, providing easy access for sightseeing and business use. Directly connected to the underground passage from JR and subway, allowing you to arrive without getting wet on rainy days. (Note: The underground entrance is closed outside of store hours.) We also offer free luggage storage before and after check-in. Additionally, guests receive a discount ticket for the Nidec Kyoto Tower observation.

You can enjoy a 360-degree view of the cityscape of Kyoto, an ancient city surrounded by the three mountains of Kyoto. Additionally, by looking through the telescope (free) installed in the observation room, you can see famous spots in Kyoto.

KYOTO TOWER SANDO: Dining, Souvenirs, and Experiences

The basement level features a food hall with renowned eateries, the first floor offers Kyoto-themed souvenir shops, and the second floor provides experience workshops to create lasting travel memories.

    At Kyoto Tower Hotel, we will conduct the annual inspection of electrical facilities in accordance with the Electricity Business Act as outlined below.
    Due to an extended power outage required for the inspection, all electrical equipment—including lighting, air conditioning, and elevators—will be unavailable. Therefore, we will suspend Accommodation operations and restaurant operations on the dates listed below.

    Scheduled power outage: Friday, January 15, 2027, 1:00–7:00
    Accommodation closure: Thursday, January 14, 2027 (Accommodation operations suspended)

- About a 2-minute walk straight to Nidec Kyoto Tower from the JR Kyoto Station Central Exit.
Nidec Kyoto Tower is the tall, white, lighthouse-like building visible just outside the Karasuma Central Exit. Walk through the bus terminal, cross at the traffic light, and with Kyoto Tower Building in front of you, proceed to the left. After passing Restaurant Tower Terrace, you will find the Hotel entrance.
[Direct access from Kyoto Station] The Hotel is directly connected via an underground passage from JR Kyoto Station “Underground East Exit” and Kyoto Municipal Subway Kyoto Station “North Gate.”
To reach the Hotel front desk, please take the elevator to the 8th floor.
*The underground entrance is closed outside shop business hours. Please use the 1st-floor Hotel entrance.
