    My arrival was delay...

    My arrival was delayed due to a flight delay, but they assisted me right away. The staff were courteous and explained the services clearly. I had a coffee right away and then went to my Room. The Room is a bit small, but it’s designed efficiently, with space next to the bed that can be used like a nightstand, and bottled water in the refrigerator, which I appreciated. Breakfast is not buffet-style; you choose from set meals. I had chicken rice (Keihan), and it was delicious. If I had one complaint, it would be that the shower water pressure in the bathroom was weak. If I have another chance to visit Kagoshima, I would like to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Excellent value for money

    This Hotel offers great value for money. It is conveniently located near tourist attractions. I was concerned about dirt on the windows.

    Highly satisfied

    We stayed in a twin Room with a view of Sakurajima for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was compact but had everything we needed, and we were able to relax comfortably. On the day of our stay, you kindly stored our luggage from the morning, which allowed us to head out for sightseeing around Sakurajima at a leisurely pace. When we returned to the Hotel, our luggage had already been brought up to our Room, which we really appreciated. The chicken rice for breakfast was very delicious. Combined with the calm and pleasant service from the staff who served it, it made for a wonderful breakfast time. The complimentary coffee was also excellent. The front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming as well. What made us happiest was, without question, the outstanding value for money. We also used early-bird and Multiple Night Stay discounts, but we were genuinely surprised that such high-quality service could be provided at this price point. My wife was also delighted and said, “It’s such a great Hotel—I’ve become a fan.” It turned into a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

    An affordable, convenient Hotel

    I made a Reservation at Sunflex Hotel near the port for my trip to Yakushima, expecting the Room, breakfast, and service to be “cheap and not very good.” However, the female front desk staff greeted me with a warm smile and kind, helpful service. The Room was comfortable and practical, and the breakfast was delicious with just the right amount. It felt almost too good for the price.

    Courteous service

    Stayed for 4 nights. The Hotel provides attentive service and thorough cleaning. The toilet lever can be used by holding it down.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    We stayed as a family of three, including our 2-year-old son. There is a Seven-Eleven right next to the accommodation, and within walking distance, there is a popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Kagoshima. The rates were more reasonable compared to other accommodations, so we expected a smaller room, but it was more spacious than we thought with enough space to open our suitcases. The room was clean and well-maintained, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. The male staff member during breakfast was very kind and attentive, especially since we had a child with us—thank you for your consideration! The breakfast selection was also excellent! One minor issue: on the first night of our 3-night stay, we filled the bathtub with water for use. However, when draining it afterward, the drainage wasn't great and caused some overflow under the sink area. We had to drain it slowly bit by bit which was slightly inconvenient. That said, there were no issues when using just the shower. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay—thank you very much!

    Good.

    I was able to stay at the accommodation with breakfast included at a very reasonable price thanks to the early booking discount. The room's window was larger than I expected. Although it was a unit bath, I felt like I had the most relaxing soak ever. The reason for giving it a -1 is that upon entering the room after check-in, there was a slight musty smell, and during breakfast, they brought us a condiment set but unfortunately, the salt container was empty. However, I left the hotel feeling good thanks to the cheerful greeting from the cleaning staff near the elevator during checkout. I would definitely like to stay here again!

    Traveling as a Couple

    We had a very affordable stay for two adults. The twin room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. By answering the survey provided at check-in, the checkout time could be extended from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Although we didn’t use this benefit due to our early plans the next day, it’s a great feature. The convenience store next to the hotel was very handy. There is also a drink service in the lobby available until around 10:00 PM. You can enjoy drinks there or take them back to your room with provided cups. The room's refrigerator included complimentary 500ml bottles of mineral water per person. The room was very quiet, allowing us to rest well and fully enjoy sightseeing the following day. Thank you for your hospitality!

    It was comfortable.

    Coffee service was available at the front desk, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The 11:00 AM checkout time was convenient. Its proximity to Tenmonkan made it very convenient, and having a convenience store next door was also extremely helpful. All the staff were kind and friendly. I stayed in a room on the Sakurajima side, but due to the small window and nearby buildings, I couldn't see much of Sakurajima, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I was very satisfied and would love to stay here again. Thank you!

    When I drained the bathwater, it backflowed from the drain, flooding the bathroom floor and soaking the bath mat, which was unpleasant. The Room was very small, but I guess that's just how it is...

    Regular Stays When Boarding

    I always use this property as accommodation when taking the morning ferry from Kagoshima Port. It is very convenient as there is no trouble with late-night check-in and it is close to the port for morning departures.
