At our hotel, we prioritize the health and safety of our guests and employees, as well as public hygiene. We have strengthened disinfection and sanitization measures throughout the facility as outlined below.
These measures are implemented based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's guidelines for COVID-19 prevention in collaboration with health authorities and medical institutions since January, with further enhancements made as necessary.
【Facility & Staff Measures】
1. Employee Mask Usage & Health Management
- Employees wear masks or face shields to prevent droplet transmission.
- Strict handwashing, gargling, and sanitization protocols are followed.
- Daily temperature checks and health reporting are conducted (employees with fever stay home for two weeks after recovery).
2. Use of white gloves when handling guest luggage
3. Installation of acrylic boards at front desk counters to prevent droplet transmission
4. Placement of disinfectant solutions throughout the facility
- Disinfectants are available at various locations such as the front desk and restrooms for guest use.
- In addition to standard alcohol-based disinfectants, highly effective antiviral solutions are also used.
5. Enhanced cleaning & disinfection in shared areas
Elevator buttons, shared restroom doorknobs, faucets, furniture items, rental items—frequently touched surfaces—are thoroughly sanitized.
6. Strengthened room disinfection measures
- Ozone sterilization is performed during cleaning to enhance air hygiene.
- Frequently touched areas such as doorknobs, remote controls, switches/faucets/room keys undergo thorough disinfection.
- Air purifiers installed in all rooms across all facilities.
- At Tokyo Shiodome/Tokyo Tamachi/Tokyo Kudanshita locations: select rooms feature Panasonic Ziaino air purification systems.
7. Temporary suspension or modification of breakfast buffet services
【Requests to Guests】
1. Temperature checks upon check-in using non-contact thermometers or thermal cameras
*The thermal camera installed at Tokyo Shiodome entrance monitors temperatures not only during check-in but also detects fevers among all visitors continuously.
2. Completion of a health questionnaire upon check-in
3. Use of self-check-in/payment machines
To reduce congestion during check-ins/check-outs while minimizing close contact with staff.
4: Cooperation in gargling/handwashing/sanitizing
Disinfectant stations provided throughout premises encourage usage by guests actively!
5 Monitoring Guest Wellness:
