    Considering the room and facilities, I felt the price could be a bit more affordable. This is just my personal opinion based on staying at various accommodations during my motorcycle trip around Japan!

    In Hokkaido, "Accommodation Tax" will be introduced for stays starting from April 1, 2026.
    The Accommodation Tax will be utilized for "enhancing the value of tourism," "improving and strengthening tourism services and infrastructure," and "reinforcing crisis response capabilities."

    ■ Taxable Amount
    The following tax rates will apply based on the accommodation fee per person per night:

    Accommodation Fee less than 20,000 yen: 100 yen
    Accommodation Fee between 20,000 yen and less than 50,000 yen: 200 yen
