Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo

The breakfast menu was extensive, with an especially wide variety of salads, and it exceeded my expectations. While I enjoy local food when traveling, I tend to fall short on vegetables, so I make a point of eating plenty of salad at the Hotel breakfast. I also watch my salt and oil intake with dressings, and they provided olive oil as an alternative. In addition to Hokkaido specialties, the pork miso soup was particularly good and also included root vegetables such as carrots, daikon radish, and burdock.

The parking staff, front desk staff, and breakfast venue staff all greeted us with warm smiles. When we made the reservation, we chose a plan with an extra bed, but after consulting with the staff about not needing it, they promptly accommodated our request—thank you for your quick response. The room was clean and quiet without any noise from above, below, or neighboring rooms, allowing us to rest comfortably. Breakfast offered a variety of dishes that didn’t get repetitive even during a multiple night stay; everything was delicious. The rice was so good that we ended up buying some at a nearby local produce store to take home. We appreciated being able to check the bath's crowd status from our room before using it. While I found it slightly difficult to read instructions without my glasses in the dressing area regarding choosing shampoos and other amenities, I enjoyed using the fragrant options provided.I usually stay near major streets but tried this location close to the station for the first time—it was great! I would love to visit again if I have another opportunity. Thank you very much!
