This Hotel is ideal for a wide range of travel styles, including families and groups, business trips and solo travelers, couples, those who want to relax, and those who want an active getaway. Just an 8-minute drive to the remote island terminal and downtown area, it offers convenient access for island-hopping and sightseeing. On-site parking is available (161 spaces | free of charge). In addition to simply designed, calming guest rooms, the Hotel features a large public bath with ultra-soft water that is gentle on the skin, a garden pool (seasonal), various restaurants/cafes/bars, and a gallery shop as Facility. We also offer nightly island folk song live performances and assistance with arranging remote island tours and activities.

  • It was a Hotel with exceptionally thoughtful attention to detail.

    We stayed here on a family trip, and just as other Reviews said, it was a great Hotel with so many thoughtful touches.At the large public bath near the pool, they provided plastic bags for wet clothes and swimsuits, and there was a wide selection of shampoo and conditioner—perfectly attentive service that covered every little need. In the evening, there was even live music in the Hotel, letting us enjoy an Ishigaki Island–style night atmosphere.The pool was just the right size for kids, and they were thrilled. We actually stayed at a luxurious high-end Hotel afterward, but our kids said they liked this one better. It was comfortable and easy for families to spend time here. I also think it’s a good Hotel for couples or group trips because of its friendly vibe. We’d love to stay again.

At Art Hotel Ishigakijima, we pump up and filter groundwater, then further refine it into ultra-soft water supplied throughout the entire Hotel. The large public bath also uses this ultra-soft water. It lathers well with soap and gently envelops your body. The men’s bath features a high-temperature sauna, and the women’s bath features a mist sauna. Refresh yourself as you wash away the day’s sweat. Please take this opportunity to soothe your fatigue from travel and sightseeing. We also accept domestic shipping, so you can pack your souvenirs together with your travel luggage and send them out. Unite your hearts. “Yuigukuru Live” by local island artists (held nightly | free)

Every night from 20:00 to 20:30, we host the “Yuigukuru Live” in the 1st-floor lobby, featuring island songs performed by local resident artists. The name “Yuigukuru” comes from “Yui” (connection) + “Kukuru” (an Okinawan dialect word meaning “heart”), expressing our wish to bring people’s hearts together. Enjoy a moment of connection with others through music, and experience Ishigaki Island—an island of performing arts. Artists perform on a rotating daily schedule.

    Starting with stays from Monday, February 1, 2027, Okinawa Prefecture and Ishigaki City will introduce an Accommodation Tax.
    Accordingly, the Accommodation Tax will be charged separately as follows. Thank you for your understanding.

    Tax rate: 2% of the Accommodation Fee (excluding consumption tax) per person per night*
    Maximum: JPY 2,000 per person per night

    *Even if you have already paid your stay in advance (e.g., by prepaying with a credit card), payment of the Accommodation Tax is required separately at check-out.
