Reikaku is a fully renovated traditional Kyoto townhouse, preserving as much of the original atmosphere as possible. Although the building is nearly 100 years old, its excellent condition allowed us to renovate it while maintaining its original form. The sliding doors, window frames, and alcove seen throughout the house remain as they were 100 years ago. All of these elements are handcrafted by skilled artisans, making them truly valuable. Enjoy your stay as if you've traveled back in time to a Kyoto townhouse from 100 years ago.
