This Property is a fully renovated traditional Kyoto townhouse (Kyo-machiya) available for exclusive use, limited to one group per day. The Room features an open design with views of the Japanese courtyard garden from various spots. Enjoy a relaxing bath while admiring the authentic Japanese garden. It includes both a traditional Japanese-style Room with futons and a Western-style Room with beds. A kitchen equipped with an IH stove allows you to enjoy cooking during your stay, and there is also a washing machine, making it ideal for long-term stays.

■Important Notes for Your Stay■
1. As this is a historic wooden building, open flames are strictly prohibited and smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Facility.
2. As this is a private machiya townhouse rental, staff are not on-site. An emergency contact number is registered on the dedicated mobile phone; please contact us in case of emergency and we will assist you promptly.
3. If your party is 7 guests or more, please select the correct number of guests in the questions section. We will inform you of any additional charges by email.
4. Depending on usage conditions, we may request improvements to how the Facility is used. If no improvement is seen, we may ask you to leave. Please note that no refunds will be provided in such cases.
5. Details such as check-in instructions will be sent to you again after your Reservation.
6. This Accommodation is licensed under Japan’s Ryokan Business Act. Amenities such as toothbrushes, cotton pads, and shampoo are provided, so you can stay with peace of mind even for one night. (Please bring your own loungewear such as yukata/robes.)
7. All items and equipment inside the Facility are free to use; however, some furnishings and fittings are traditional or antique and may be fragile. Please handle them with care.
8. If anything is damaged or malfunctions, please be sure to inform us immediately. Minor damage will be repaired at our expense; however, if we determine that the damage is significant and repairs will be costly, you may be required to cover the actual costs regardless of intent or negligence.

Take Kyoto City Bus route 88 or 208 and walk about 2 minutes from “Imakumano” bus stop.

Take a taxi from the taxi stand at Kyoto Station (Central Exit). Approx. 1.6 km (about 10 minutes).
Directions for the driver: Head along Higashioji-dori and turn west onto the street one block south of Shiokoji-dori. You will see Kensetsu Keizai Shimbunsha (KJC) on your left; go down the alley beside it, and it is on the right-hand side further in.
