Inside this historic machiya, you'll find a multi-layered space that defies expectations from its exterior. Starting with a semi-basement level that was originally an air-raid shelter, the layers seamlessly connect through the doma (earthen floor), a living room facing the garden, the first floor, a mezzanine, and the second floor. Each level offers a unique space to relax and spend your time in your own way.
