Handcrafted Kyoto cushions.

The Kyoto zabuton, handcrafted by skilled artisans, features three distinct characteristics: "Sanpo Toji" (three-sided stitching), "Kado Fusa" (corner tassels), and a "Kamaboko shape" (arched surface). To prevent the cotton from shifting, the zabuton is stitched in the center. While most zabutons use cross-stitching, Kyoto zabutons employ "Sanpo Toji" stitching, which also indicates the front direction. The corner tassels, or "Kado Fusa," are not merely decorative but are designed to hold the cotton in place at the corners, preventing it from slipping out—a traditional technique unique to Kyoto zabutons. Additionally, Kyoto zabutons are crafted with extra cotton in the center, where the most weight is applied, making them more durable. The back is flat, while the front is arched like a "Kamaboko" (fish cake), ensuring comfort and longevity. Relax and enjoy your time with this zabuton, imbued with Kyoto's traditional craftsmanship and spirit of hospitality.

Our Accommodation offers a completely private stay. You will not have any contact or face-to-face interaction with other guests, so you can relax and enjoy your time with peace of mind. We also implement the following hygiene measures. Measures for staff 1. All staff have their temperature checked and confirm their physical condition before starting work. 2. Staff refrain from coming to work if they have symptoms such as fever or cough, as well as loss of taste or smell, fatigue, or any other signs of illness. 3. We ensure thorough reporting and information sharing if a staff member’s family member or other close contact is suspected of infection, or if there is any possibility of infection. 4. All staff wear masks during commuting and while working, and sanitize their hands regularly as appropriate. 5. During check-in procedures, staff always sanitize their hands, and we ask guests to sanitize their hands upon entering the Room. The same applies after handling cash or similar exchanges. Measures at the Facility 1. We thoroughly carry out alcohol disinfection during routine indoor cleaning at all times. 2. We further reinforce alcohol disinfection focusing on frequently touched areas within the Facility such as Room doorknobs/handles, remote controls, switches, and other high-touch surfaces used by guests. 3. Disinfectant and an air purifier are available for guest use in the Facility, and we provide disposable amenities such as single-use slippers (where applicable). 4.We regularly ventilate the Facility by exchanging indoor air periodically.. 5.Cleaning during your stay depends on your length of stay and Plan; however ,upon request,we will provide only essential cleaning within necessary areas..
