Located on a hill in Izu Nagaoka Onsen, this property boasts views of Mount Fuji and a rooftop open-air bath. Enjoy a luxurious time soaking in the onsen while admiring the elegant Mount Fuji.
• Guest Rooms The Room wasn’t new, but it was very clean and comfortable.• Service The staff who assisted us during meals were pleasant—polished yet friendly.• Onsen The open-air bath with a view of Mt. Fuji was amazing! The in-room bath was also very comfortable.• Facility The relaxation room on the first floor was dark and a bit scary. Otherwise, no issues.• Meals Truly delicious. Even my partner, who is picky about food, was very satisfied. The portions were just right. I’d happily return just for the meals.
にし&やま 6/17/2026A pet Hotel is available free of charge. It is located inside the property, and you can leave your key with us for peace of mind. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building feels a bit retro, but the Onsen was great.

| About Hygiene Measures | Nine Measures for Safety and Security at New Hakkeien
Thank you for your continued patronage of "Izu Nagaoka Onsen New Hakkeien."
As a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented "Nine Measures for Safety and Security."
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation to ensure the safety and health of our guests and staff.
1. Temperature Check with Infrared Thermometer
We kindly request your cooperation in undergoing a temperature check with an infrared thermometer upon entry.
If a temperature of 37.5°C or higher is detected, a recheck with an underarm thermometer will be conducted.
Guests with a temperature of 37.5°C or higher on the underarm thermometer will not be permitted to enter.
2. Disinfection of Shoe Soles upon Entry
Guests are asked to walk on a disinfectant mat containing sterilizing solution to remove and disinfect dirt from shoe soles.
3. Implementation of "Speedy Check-in"
To expedite the check-in process, we will replace the verbal explanation of "Usage Guidelines and Requests" at the front desk with a mini leaflet.
*If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our staff after check-in.
4. Request to Wear Masks Inside the Facility
We kindly ask for your cooperation in wearing masks except during bathing and dining.
Additionally, please use the hand sanitizing alcohol provided throughout the facility.
5. Enhanced Attention and Care
Even if no fever is present, we will pay close attention to guests who show signs of health changes within the facility.
A brief health questionnaire will also be conducted upon entry.
6. NO to the "Three Cs"
To prevent the "Three Cs" (Closed spaces, Crowded places, Close-contact settings), we will ensure proper ventilation and may implement "entry restrictions" or "usage limitations" during expected busy times.
7. Providing a Comfortable Environment
From April, all areas have been designated non-smoking, with smoking allowed only in designated "smoking rooms."
*Eating and smoking, whether with regular or heated tobacco, are not permitted.
8. Enhanced Disinfection and Cleanliness Patrols
We will disinfect frequently touched areas (such as doorknobs, handles, lockers, in-room tablets, remote controls, buffet tongs, and drink bar buttons) regularly.
Weakly acidic hypochlorous acid water sprayers will be installed in lobbies and dining areas, and all staff will carry weakly acidic hypochlorous acid spray for enhanced patrol cleaning.
Additionally, we will ventilate rooms by opening windows to avoid creating enclosed spaces.
9. Staff Health and Condition Management
We will strictly manage and check staff health through pre-shift temperature checks, daily records, and frequent handwashing, gargling, and hand sanitization.
*All staff will wear masks. |
