    This was my first stay here. It is a traditional Onsen Ryokan with some age, but it was clean and very comfortable. Everyone—the front desk staff, the dining staff, and the bath area staff—was extremely courteous and made me feel welcome. If a staff member was near the elevator hall, they would always press the button and wait with you; even if they were a little farther away, they would come back just to press it. It’s a small gesture, but it truly made me happy. The only disappointment was that the amount of alcohol I ordered with dinner was clearly less than the listed serving size, and even the shochu with water tasted almost like plain water. That was a significant negative point for me. Even if I stay at this Ryokan again, I don’t think I would order drinks next time. That said, all other service was perfect. If I visit Arima again, I would like to stay here again. The location was also excellent.

  • Relax in Arima Onsen

    Back at Arima Gyoen after a long time!I requested a Room along the Arima River, and they kindly accommodated me, so I was able to relax while enjoying the view. All the staff were very pleasant—whether I met them in the hallway, by the elevator, or at the large public bath, they greeted me and even saw me off at the elevator. It was a truly comfortable stay.Thank you very much.

Arima Onsen, listed among the "Three Ancient Hot Springs of Japan" and the "Three Great Hot Springs of Japan." At our facility, you can enjoy "Kinsen," a highly concentrated sodium chloride strong saline Onsen containing iron. This Onsen is globally rare, as it contains seven out of the nine main components designated by the Ministry of the Environment as therapeutic hot springs. For this reason, it is also called "Nukumori no Yu" (Warmth Bath) and "Kodakara no Yu" (Fertility Bath), and has been cherished since ancient times as a renowned Onsen known to alleviate cold sensitivity, chronic gynecological disorders, and provide various other benefits.
