I am a fan of Keizan...

I am a fan of Keizankaku. I have visited many times, and despite the severe impact of COVID-19 over the past four years and various cost-cutting measures, I still enjoy my stays here. The tatami in the older guest rooms is always clean and pleasant, and the sea bream sashimi is fresh with a delightful texture. The comparison of meats and steamed vegetables is delicious, likely due to the quality ingredients. (From experience, upgrading from the standard plan for meals seems to enhance overall satisfaction.) The beautiful flower arrangements at the lobby entrance and the warm smile of the proprietress are also very comforting. In Kyoto city, international chain hotels can cost 100,000 to 200,000 yen without meals. In contrast, even though this is Kameoka, I admire how you manage to maintain such reasonable prices. It makes me want to support traditional Japanese ryokan like yours. There are some areas for improvement such as breakfast options, drainage odors, or old hair dryers; however, I trust these will be addressed as your business recovers financially. Thanks to you all again for allowing me a peaceful retreat during this holiday season. Thank you very much! I’ll be back again soon! :)
