A culinary property located in East Izu. The owner-chef has trained at a three-star restaurant in Kyoto and crafts dishes using carefully selected ingredients such as golden eye snapper, Ise lobster, and abalone. Enjoy a completely new Izu cuisine that blends Japanese and French styles.

True to its reputation as a culinary-focused Accommodation, the food was outstanding. While seafood is the main feature, I was impressed by the careful preparation that didn’t rely solely on the ingredients’ natural flavors. The seasonal presentation was also lovely. In addition to the sashimi, the herb-grilled spiny lobster and abalone steak were delicious. I especially loved the risotto beneath the abalone.I also thoroughly enjoyed all four private baths. There was usually one available, so I never had to wait. The temperatures seemed slightly different in each, and my favorite was the rock bath. The changing areas were also kept very clean and tidy.I’d definitely like to return.

At our facility, we serve handmade dishes crafted with local ingredients from the mountains and seas of Izu, freshly prepared for each serving. Additionally, to ensure that guests visiting with family or groups can relax and enjoy, we have renovated the dining area into private rooms with a modern Japanese style. Please enjoy the creative cuisine prepared by our proprietor (head chef), who trained at a top-class restaurant in Kyoto.

We offer Rooms in a serene Japanese style, a Japanese twin style, and a modern Japanese-style Western room.
The Onsen at Property Kappo Taikan-so is entirely sourced directly from the Shirada Onsen spring.
We are fully prepared to welcome you, ensuring you can relax as if returning to your hometown, enjoy meals and Onsen, and leave with satisfaction.
Phone support is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Please note that we are unable to answer calls during the break time from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Additionally, after 10:00 AM, we may not be able to answer calls due to room cleaning activities.
Our accommodation does not accept children under elementary school age.
Occasionally, reservations for children are made in the comment section; however, please note that we will contact you and cancel the reservation in such cases.
