A historic Property preserving the legacy of the Heike clan, located in Yunishigawa Onsen. The entire building is situated along a clear stream and features traditional architecture with fine wood and earthen walls, reviving the charm of an old era. Cross the renowned "Kazura Bridge," one of Kanto's finest, and enjoy natural hot spring baths with free-flowing Onsen water and charcoal-grilled Irori cuisine.
This was my first time staying here. Many of the staff are young and from overseas, but their Japanese is excellent, and I was amazed by how exceptionally polite and attentive their service was. Above all, you can really feel how hard they work. I had a very pleasant stay. In particular, the young woman who explained the meals and the man at the front desk during check-in—both were foreign nationals—and they were simply outstanding. The Ryokan itself has a wonderful traditional atmosphere, and I was very satisfied. We stayed to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday, and she was delighted as well! Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter.
＠＠＠＠モモンガ＠＠＠＠ 9/1/2026As this is a historic, traditional Accommodation, there were a few aspects of the building that stood out, but the meals, Onsen, and location were excellent, and we were more than satisfied with our Multiple Night Stay.Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone worked very hard and left a great impression. In particular, the gentleman who assisted us at the front desk spoke fluent Japanese and had a wonderful smile—good! We travel three to four times a year as a hobby, and this became a truly memorable trip.PS.After we left the Accommodation and started driving, you found something we had forgotten and kindly called my mobile phone—thank you so much for your help.

The Yunishigawa Onsen, believed to have been discovered over 820 years ago. The open-air bathhouse "Fujikura no Yu" at Honke Bankyu is its location. Since then, the spring has been preserved through generations, welcoming guests seeking therapeutic benefits. Onsen and bath
The Yunesugawa hot spring features a natural open-air bath with stunning views close to the river.
All rooms are located along the clear stream of Yunesegawa, offering a relaxing and tranquil space.
Gather around the fire, grill ingredients from the mountains and rivers, share bamboo sake or cloudy sake, and enjoy a blissful moment of togetherness.
Kazura Bridge
The Kazura Bridge, which connects the main building and the dining area "Heike Kakurekan," was constructed by the skilled hands of artisans from Iya Valley in Shikoku, a region steeped in the history of the Heike clan's exiles. Historically, the Heike-related Kazura Bridge was designed to be cut down to aid in their escape. However, through reconciliation, the enmity of 800 years has been dissolved, and a ceremonial "first crossing" was held, symbolizing unity as both parties crossed the Kazura Bridge hand in hand to reach the Kakurekan. Today, in this modern era, the bridge stands as a "bridge of connection," bringing together the bonds of all who visit.
