    The Accommodation Tax in Kyoto City will be revised starting March 1, 2026 (Sunday).
    Regardless of the date of the accommodation contract or payment, it is scheduled to apply to accommodations from March 1, 2026 (Sunday).

    Revised Rates [From March 1, 2026 (Sunday)]:
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) less than ¥6,000: ¥200
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) ¥6,000 to less than ¥20,000: ¥400
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) ¥20,000 to less than ¥50,000: ¥1,000
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) ¥50,000 to less than ¥100,000: ¥4,000
