November 1, 2025: Private Panorama Bath "Boyo" - BRAND NEW OPEN
The renovation of the private bath with an ocean view, "Boyo," has been completed earlier than scheduled and is now open from today with a fresh new look.
An Onsen property overlooking Tsunashiro Bay. A serene space that combines tradition and modernity.
Enjoy the natural onsen water flowing freely, with all rooms offering ocean views. Within the Facility, you can experience six different baths, including a panoramic bath overlooking Ajiro Bay. The seafood kaiseki cuisine, featuring abundant local seafood, is another unmissable attraction.
I visit Ajiro for fishing and always choose this accommodation as my regular stay. It's so comfortable that I often end up extending my stay. The view is great, and the private bath is absolutely amazing. I will continue to support you!
I stayed in a Japanese-style room on the first floor. It felt as comfortable as being back at home. The meals were plentiful but delicious. I was able to relax and enjoy the Onsen. Thank you very much.

Room
The modern-style Room features beautifully textured earthen walls. These walls, crafted using traditional Japanese techniques, harmonize with modern furniture to create a relaxing space. In addition to modern Rooms, we also offer traditional Japanese-style Rooms. You can choose according to your preference. All Rooms boast ocean views, with the panorama of Ajiro Bay spreading out before you.

You can enjoy a seafood kaiseki meal featuring fresh seafood such as abalone, Ise lobster, turban shell, and red sea bream, caught at the nearby Ajiro Port. Our head chef, Yasuo Suzuki, skillfully prepares and presents the bounties of Ajiro's sea.

We take pride in offering high-quality hot spring water sourced from our private spring, supplied to all baths from the large communal bath to the guest room baths. With non-circulating spring water, you can enjoy a tour of six baths within the facility. Particularly, the sea views from the private panoramic hinoki baths "Unkai" and "Bōyō" are exceptional.

The renovation of the private bath with an ocean view, "Boyo," has been completed earlier than scheduled and is now open from today with a fresh new look.
There are 281 Onsen sources in Atami City. Over 60% of these are located in the central area of Atami, while approximately 10%, or 27 sources, can be found in South Atami (Taga and Ajiro areas), where Taiseikan is situated. However, only a portion of accommodations own their own Onsen sources.
Let’s take a closer look at the water quality. Most Onsens in Atami, including Taiseikan's, feature chloride springs known for their "salty" nature. These waters are particularly effective for warming the body, improving blood circulation to relieve fatigue and stiffness, and even aiding recovery from injuries. Additionally, they are considered gentle on the skin with minimal risk of overexposure.
The average mineral content across all Onsens in Atami is about 6.5g per kilogram of water. In comparison, Taiseikan boasts an impressive mineral content exceeding this average by more than 2.5 times at 17.7g per kilogram.
At Taiseikan, we strive to provide "raw" Onsen water with minimal dilution whenever possible. As a result, you may initially find it hotter than your usual bathwater at home; however, after washing your body and entering again for a second soak, you’ll find it much more comfortable as your body adjusts to the temperature. The refreshing sensation after bathing is one of the unique pleasures of Taiseikan’s Onsen—please enjoy it to your heart’s content!
