A cozy property with 9 non-smoking rooms, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The renowned Mamane hot spring, recommended by doctors, and the Kaiseki cuisine themed around medicinal food are highly recommended.
This was my third stay, the first in a year and a half. The hot spring water here is simply outstanding— the moment you step in, you can’t help but let out a joyful sigh. I’m also grateful to the cheerful, welcoming proprietress for her thoughtful care in so many ways. It was my husband’s first time staying here, and he was impressed not only by the hot spring, but also by being able to enjoy some rare sake at dinner and by how beautifully the lighting is used throughout the Accommodation. Soaking in the hot spring washes away everyday fatigue and stress completely—once you stay here, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. Thank you very much for your hospitality; I will definitely visit again within this year. Thank you.
キャリン猫 2/23/2026About a 5-minute walk from the station, with parking for around four cars. The building is old, but it has been renovated and is comfortable. The design feels thoughtfully considered. There are baths and a dining area in the basement; there are stairs to go down, but handrails are installed. The Onsen baths were high quality and wonderfully warming. The meals were lightly seasoned for me but normal for my family, and the portions were generous. Some guests may come back because of the proprietress’s warm personality. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again.

Masutomi's unique medicinal and culinary fusion dishes are made with seasonal ingredients sourced from contracted farmers and can be enjoyed at the quiet and atmospheric restaurant "Fukuryuan." A healing meal deserves a location that enhances the dining experience. At Masutomi, meals are served at the in-house restaurant "Fukuryuan." Originally a storehouse, the building exudes a sense of solidity and warmth. With its charming pillars and beams, the space retains the comforting atmosphere of a traditional countryside home while incorporating modern design. There are private Rooms and a large counter with flowing spring water. The modern wooden design creates a calm and serene ambiance. Special attention is given to water, rice, and vegetables, as well as seafood from Suruga Bay and Sagami Bay, which are used in the creative dishes. These meals are designed to promote health and beauty from within, all enjoyed in the quiet, hidden retreat-like atmosphere. Additionally, there is a focus on fine sake. A selection of premium sake is chilled at the counter with natural cold water. Guests can indulge in beautifully crafted and delicious "medicinal and culinary fusion" dishes prepared by skilled chefs, paired with exquisite sake.
