Enjoy an indoor bath and open-air bath with abundant water—about 50°C and 300 liters per minute—offered as true free-flowing hot spring water: no added water, no heating, no filtration, and no recirculation. The silky texture and gentle feel unique to this alkaline simple Onsen leave your skin smooth and refreshed. Guest rooms feature a Japanese-modern design with warm wood accents and calm tones (57 rooms total). Morning and evening buffets showcase Iwate’s seasonal flavors, including an impressive tuna carving show and a chance to try the local specialty “Wanko Soba.” From bathing to dining to thoughtful experiences, we deliver a one-of-a-kind hot spring source experience for all five senses—with unwavering dedication.
It was a truly wonderful Hotel. The hot water was excellent, and I was very satisfied. One suggestion: it would be helpful to have a trash bin in the washing area of the bath. It was difficult to store amenities such as razors and toothbrushes. I would appreciate it if this could be improved. Also, I think the shop’s selection could be a bit more extensive. I would have been happy if there were some light snacks in the free drink corner.
満喫侍 8/30/2026It was my first time back in Oushuku Onsen in a while, and the renewed Accommodation was impressive—the guest rooms have been renovated, and the interiors look completely transformed. The large public bath is still fed directly from the source with a wonderfully abundant flow, and I enjoyed it to my heart’s content. I also visited the local Onsen shrine near the Accommodation to give thanks for being able to enjoy these wonderful waters again. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
