How to Spend Your Day
Leave your luggage with the delivery service at Kyoto Station and check in hands-free. Guided by our staff, head straight to your room. Settle in with peace of mind as you complete check-in in a private space. Take in the elegant design with high ceilings, and unwind in a modern Japanese-style room featuring tatami flooring and beds.
First, head up to the top floor, where the lounge “Shoro” is located. Take a moment to relax with a welcome drink. Enjoy draft beer and other alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and freshly ground coffee made with beans from Ogawa Coffee, a long-established Kyoto roaster. The bathhouse “Kinukake-no-Yu” is a strolling-style large public bath with tatami flooring, inspired by the aesthetic of the corridors of the Ninna-ji Palace. In the calm brought by tatami, enjoy changing bathing scenes from a rock bath to a cypress-wood bath. You can also use four private baths free of charge. Surrender to the waters in a serene space wrapped in quiet and soothing tones.
After enjoying the Onsen, please relax at your leisure in the post-bath lounge area. From 15:00, we offer a wide variety of ice cream, and in the morning we provide post-bath drinks. In addition, after dinner you can enjoy Kyoritsu Resort’s signature soy sauce ramen “Yonaki Soba” free of charge as a late-night snack.
Dinner features our signature Kyoto kaiseki, crafted with refined traditional Kyoto culinary techniques. Savor seasonal flavors made with delicacies from the mountains and sea, as well as Kyoto vegetables. With Kyoto-inspired tableware and presentation, each dish lets you feel the changing seasons. Some dishes can also be selected to suit your mood that day.
Our locally sourced Kyoto breakfast is one of Omuro Kadensho’s highlights. Enjoy a colorful selection of obanzai made mainly with Kyoto vegetables, offering a variety of flavors in small portions. Take your time and savor a relaxing morning in true Kyoto style.
