    This is a small luxury Hotel with 55 rooms.As a result, the staff paid close attention to every detail.They greeted me by name whenever we passed, and kindly listened to casual conversation—this is a Hotel that makes you want to come back again and again.

    As many guests have said, this is an outstanding Hotel.From the moment you step inside, you immediately understand why it is the Imperial Hotel—thanks to the serene atmosphere and the refined hospitality of the staff.Our Room was a tatami-style Room in the North Wing, at eye level with Gion’s traditional Kyoto townhouses, and enjoying Kawakami’s breakfast there was such an elegant experience that we almost forgot we were in a Hotel.I have never written a Review before, but this Hotel was so wonderful that I simply had to.
