Onsen
An Onsen to "purify" the heart and "clear" the mind.

At "Momoyama Onsen Tsukimi-kan," a renovated onsen ryokan originally established in the early Showa era along the Uji River, guests can enjoy two exclusive open-air baths fed by natural hot spring water from the property. The source is a hypotonic, mildly alkaline cold mineral spring. Momoyama Onsen contains abundant mineral components such as metabolic acid, metasilicic acid, and free carbon dioxide, which help relax muscles, improve blood circulation, and enhance skin elasticity. The onsen "Jou" offers a bath to release past fatigue and emotional burdens. Surrounded by warm steam and featuring a stone-built tub that evokes the strength of nature itself, it provides an experience akin to being embraced by the great outdoors. A dry sauna is also available within this bath area. The onsen "Sumi" brings quiet hope for the future and new insights. Its crystal-clear surface reflects not only your inner self but also the stars shining in the night sky. Under moonlight's gentle glow, you can immerse yourself in serene silence and reconnect with your true essence. Both baths offer private spaces where natural sounds harmonize with tranquility for ultimate relaxation. Take your time to cleanse your heart with "Jou" and clear your mind with "Sumi," creating unforgettable moments of peace and renewal.
