Kyoto Machiya Kamogawa Gardens is an accommodation that revitalizes a historic Kyoto townhouse. Due to current laws and technology, it is impossible to reconstruct the same building again. Amidst the annual dismantling of many townhouses, this beautiful architectural piece, which has adorned Kyoto's history, has been preserved and transformed into a modern accommodation where you can experience the charm of a traditional Kyoto townhouse while enjoying comfort.

For preschool children, up to 2 may stay free of charge with Child Sharing Existing Bedding in [Yukimi], and up to 1 in [Tsukimi] and [Suimi]. Fees apply from the 3rd child in [Yukimi] and from the 2nd child in [Tsukimi] and [Suimi], so please include them in the number of elementary school children when making your Reservation. If you make a free Reservation for more than the allowed number of children sharing existing bedding, we may not be able to accommodate your stay. ●The stairs in the machiya are steep and can be dangerous, so please ensure that parents/guardians supervise carefully. ●We do not provide yukata or amenities (slippers) for children. We kindly ask that you bring your own.
